Writing Bootcamps are Postponed!

Writing bootcamps are postponed until further notice due to the current Covid-19 situation.  

Are you writing something but feeling isolated or distracted? Why not try working in a larger group in a supporting environment. Nexus is hosting four writing bootcamps on the following dates: 

The writing bootcamps take place from 9-3:45 in the Nexus Centre (SN4022) and are open to everyone. 

FEEL FREE TO COME FOR THE DAY, OR PART OF THE DAY (JUST MAKE SURE TO COME OR LEAVE DURING A BREAK!).

MORNING

9:00-9:15 SET UP: GET COMFORTABLE, GET CAFFEINATED
9:15-9:30 SHARE: GOALS FOR THE DAY (FIRST DAY, INTRODUCTIONS)
9:30-10:30 SESSION 1: WRITNG TIME. DURING THIS TIME, SCHOLARS ARE IN THEIR SEATS WRITING. NO EMAIL CHECKS, NO CHITCHAT. JUST FOCUS ON THE TASK AND GET THE WORDS OUT.
10:30-10:45 BREAK: THIS IS TIME TO VENT, SNACK, REST, CHAT, CHECK E-MAIL, AND TALK THROUGH ANY WRITING DILEMMAS.
10:45-12:00 SESSION 2: WRITNG TIME.

AFTERNOON

12:00-1:00 LUNCH
1:00-2:15 SESSION 3: WRITNG TIME.
2:15-2:30 BREAK
2:30-3:45 SESSION 4: WRITNG TIME
3:45-4:30 REPORT: ON GOALS/REVIEW THE DAY'S ACHIEVEMENTS,

DISCUSS AND DEBRIEF.
