Nexus is Hiring a Research Assistant

Graduate Assistant Position (Nexus Centre Graduate Assistant) in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Fall

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences invites applications for a Graduate Assistant position for the Nexus Centre for Collaborative and Interdisciplinary Research in the Fall 2018 semester.

The position will entail 56 hours of administrative and organizational support for Dr. John Sandlos, Nexus Centre Director.

The qualifications for this position are:

• Registered full time graduate student in any humanities or social science discipline(s);
• Experience organizing academic events such as seminar series, workshops, and community outreach events
• Excellent communications skills
• Experience working with website maintenance and development would be an asset
• Experience developing podcasts would be an asset

TERM: Fall 2018

EMPLOYER: Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

LOCATION: St. John’s Campus

NUMBER OF POSITIONS: One

WORKING HOURS: 56 hours
