Maximizing the impact of R&D investments made by Newfoundland and Labrador’s offshore oil and gas industry is a multifaceted process that requires foresight, experience, stewardship and diligence.  Industry needs must be effectively identified and transformed into research opportunities.  And those opportunities in turn must be matched with local expertise and capability to deliver relevant and actionable research outcomes.  Petroleum Research is a member-based organization that delivers value to Newfoundland and Labrador’s offshore oil and gas industry by:

• Developing research plans and programs that advance member priorities;
• Funding and managing research projects that produce tangible economic benefits; and,
• Encouraging local capacity development in research focus areas by hosting collaborative research events and creating targeted funding opportunities.
