Acfas (Association francophone pour le savoir) has been able to secure federal and private funding to create a program called the Service to Assist Research in French (SARF). The program provides assistance and support to French-speaking researchers working in minority settings in Canada (people working in official language minority communities). The Office of the Vice-President (Research) and Memorial University faculty members Dr. Karine Abadie, Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures, and Dr. Emmanuel Haven, Faculty of Business Administration, both provincial representatives of Acfas Acadie, have developed a survey to find out the level of faculty interest in French language research support with an intent to provide opportunities for collaboration and engagement with Acfas through the SARF program.
To access the survey, visit the launch page here (MUN login is required) and click the link for the “French Language Support Census Survey”. The survey will be available to complete until Thursday, Oct. 24.
