Info session for Call for Proposals for NL Newcomer Settlement and Integration Grants

The Provincial Government is calling for proposals for projects under the Newfoundland and Labrador Settlement and Integration Grants program (NLSIP). The program is a key part of immigration retention efforts by supporting the social, economic and cultural integration of newcomers to the province.

Priority will be given to projects that support the direct delivery of settlement services to newcomers, regardless of immigration status, and support labour market attachment and economic immigration.

Organizations eligible for project funding include:

  • Non-profit organizations

  • Post-secondary institutions

  • Municipalities

  • Indigenous governing bodies

The full NLSIP guidelines are available online here.

Applications will be assessed as received and must be submitted through the Labour Market Programs Support System (LaMPSS). Applications will begin being accepted at 12:00 p.m. NDT on Friday, April 4, 2025.  All applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. NDT on Friday, May 2, 2025.
