Save the date: Research collaboration event in Gothenburg, Sweden

Universities Canada is hosting a gathering focused on deepening research partnerships between Canadian and European institutions. The event will take place on Sept. 8 in Gothenburg, Sweden, in advance of the European Association for International Education (EAIE) Conference (Sept. 9-12, 2025). Designed to foster meaningful dialogue and new connections, the event will offer a dynamic platform to exchange best practices, engage with global research leaders and explore emerging opportunities for collaboration—particularly within the Horizon Europe framework, the EU’s flagship program for research and innovation. The program will include thought-provoking discussions on advancing international research collaboration, followed by a networking reception with key stakeholders from both regions. Registration information will be shared soon, but if you have questions about this event, please contact Bibiana Valencia, International Relations Manager at BValencia@univcan.ca.
