SSHRC's new website is live

The new and improved Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) website is now live. This relaunch was done to improve usability, navigation, and accessibility for visitors.  

 Key changes include:  

•  A cleaner, more user-friendly experience for visitors, which aligns with the Government of Canada’s web presence. 

• New Canada.ca URLs. (All SSHRC web pages will be automatically redirected).  

• Some restructuring of SSHRC web content, with more plain language used on landing pages. (No changes have been made to policy or funding opportunity sections). 

 These changes are the result of internal and external consultations, a review of web analytics and user testing. 

 This first phase of renewal only impacts SSHRC’s web presence. The next phase will focus on updating the Tri-Agency Institutional Programs Secretariat (TIPS) web pages, which are administered by SSHRC. 

 Visitors are invited to share their thoughts on the new website via the feedback tool found at the bottom of all SSHRC web pages, which will help inform continuous improvements.
