Open consultation sessions for the draft Intellectual Property policy

A reminder that consultation is now open on the draft revised policy for Intellectual Property (IP). Find the revised draft document here. The initial review was led by the Research Innovation Office’s director of innovation and entrepreneurship as well as a pan-university working group, and informed by the institutional Research Strategy 2023-28 and operational realities from RIO, Memorial’s administrating unit. There will be two consultation sessions next week that are open to faculty, students and staff:

• An in-person session will take place on Thursday, Oct. 23 from 1-2 p.m., in room IIC-3001 in the Bruneau Centre for Research and Innovation; and

• An online session will take place on Thursday, Oct. 23 from 3-4 p.m., via Microsoft Teams (please email rio@mun.ca for connection details)
