SSHRC launches new website: Insights on Canadian priorities

Research in social sciences and humanities provides valuable insights on key national priorities, such as productivity, trade, and defence and security.  To ensure that “made-in-Canada” research-based expertise and insights are readily accessible to inform evidence-based decision-making in these areas, SSHRC launched the Insights on Canadian Priorities webpage. This dedicated section on our website features current key priorities and includes information about SSHRC-funded research, leading experts, investment data, editorials, and more.

 We invite you to view our latest Defence and Security feature focused on an issue of critical importance to all Canadians. In an increasingly volatile world, social sciences and humanities research plays a vital role in supporting Canada’s defence and security priorities by increasing understanding of the complex factors at play driving defence policy, governance, industry, and innovation.
