Honk If You Want Me Off the Road

St. John’s is famous for its brightly coloured houses, spectacular views, hiking trails, icebergs and whales. It also has record snowfalls and pedestrians battle to get around the city during the four to six month period that is winter. Over the past few years, a sidewalks activist movement has emerged. This film documents its growth through interviews with walkers and footage of what they endure as they struggle to move from place to place or give up and become prisoners in their own homes.
