How to Contribute
Anyone who is enaged in research activities within the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences at Memorial University is welcome to submit their projects to the Showcase. New projects can be added via the dashboard. New users will need to create a profile when accessing the dashboard for the first time. Once a profile is created, new projects can be added and edited easily. If you have issues, please email hssresearchgrants@mun.ca with the necessary information for each project. Project information includes:
- Title (no more than 10 words)
- Description (no more than 20 words; this can be phrased as a rhetorical question or hypothesis you’re addressing)
- A Project Abstract (no more than 300 words and avoid using jargon if possible)
- A list of Tags (between 6-10 is good for describing the project specifically such as topic, reseach methods, individuals, places, theorists, etc.)
- A selection of 3-4 Tags from those related to the HSS Research Themes and your discipline
- A list of other HSS-based Co-applicants, Collaborators, and other Principal Investigators involved in the project
- A project website link
- An image representing your project which has little to no text, and preferably does not have a pale or white background. Files can be either in JPEG or PNG format. The maximum file size permitted is 3MB.
- If you desire, a credit for your image
About You
In addition to the details for your projects, we’ll need to have some indication of how you’d like to be listed in the Showcase as a researcher. To do this, please provide:

- Your mun.ca email address
